The Last Waltz Tribute - Big Pink - Fitzgerald Theater
Big Pink & Featured Guests - A Night Driven by Energy and Collaboration
As the night unfolded, Big Pink took the reins and carried the show forward with the remainder of The Band’s legendary set, transforming the tribute into a full-scale celebration of collaboration and musicianship.
From the first note, the chemistry on stage was undeniable. Mark Joseph led on guitar with confidence and precision, while Robert Hilstrom and Eddie “Hondo” Juntunen layered the sound with rich, expressive keys. Dan Ristrom held down the low end on bass, and Connor McRae Hammergren drove the rhythm from behind the kit with steady intensity.
What made the night truly special was the rotating cast of featured performers stepping into iconic roles. Among the standout moments were appearances by Adam Levy of The Honeydogs—whose performance was nothing short of incredible—along with the ever-commanding presence of Molly Maher. Stevie Brantseg and Demitri Rallis of Frogleg also delivered memorable contributions that elevated the night even further.
The energy never dipped. Each guest brought their own personality while still serving the legacy of the original performance, creating a seamless flow that kept the audience engaged from start to finish. Big Pink wasn’t just backing the show—they were the engine driving it, pushing the momentum forward with passion and purpose.
